With a deep love for natural materials, timeless design, and spaces that feel both elevated and lived in, Ashley founded Marques Living Co to create homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. Her design approach blends old-world European charm with modern organic living while focusing on layered textures, warm neutrals, and thoughtful details that support real life.
Ashley’s expertise spans residential design from full home builds to renovations and furnishings, always guided by a desire to create calm, welcoming environments. Whether designing for growing families or refined retreats, she is known for her ability to balance beauty with practicality. At the heart of her work is a belief that great design should feel effortless, personal, and deeply connected to the way people truly live.
At the heart of Ashley's work is family. She is a wife to her husband of seven years and a mom to three beautiful daughters, and so much of her design philosophy is shaped by the life they share together. Their home is busy, imperfect, and deeply loved, and she believes the most meaningful spaces are the ones that support real life while still feeling calm, thoughtful, and beautiful. She is especially passionate about designing for families, creating homes that feel grounded and welcoming without sacrificing a sense of refinement.
Outside of design, you’ll most often find her spending time together as a family at home or outdoors. She loves gardening as a family, each year experimenting with different fruits and vegetables and watching them grow from tiny seeds into something they’ve nurtured together. She also loves baking sourdough and taking on creative challenges that require patience and presence. In 2026, Ashley and her daughters are diving into growing flowers from seed, exploring different varieties and colors as a new way to learn and slow down together. Alongside their family dog Stella and a shared love of travel, these everyday moments shape the way she approaches both life and design, with intention, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in simplicity.
